Everything perfect
Quaint and cozy cafe in a nice little town :-) It is definitely worth a visit. Even now in the Corona time there are many goodies to buy. Just have a look yourself!
Very tasty breakfast ..
Very cozy little room with original furniture that has been lovingly restored. Yesterday we went to the herbal café and ate a delicious soup and cake or waffles. The owner told about the creation of the café and seems to run her café with passion. You can also buy homemade pestos, chutneys, spreads, etc., and you can even buy pickled walnuts (made from unripe walnuts) from her. I had this on the salad for the first time during a vacation and could have gotten into it. Hope their walnuts are just as tasty. Will try them shortly. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortably furnished. I think we will come back.
I was there on May 29th, 2020, and I'm still totally thrilled! Very loving atmosphere! In food you notice the love of nature and cooking, a great interaction! The conditions were incredibly friendly and attentive, which rounded off the stay! Thank you for this great end of my trip, I would love to come back !!!!
Super cozy and very, very tasty!
Great food, super nice service staff. We enjoyed every minute.
Highly recommended location for good food with sympathetic service in Bergisches Land. In a rustic, former village pub good food is served here with heart and mostly high quality, sometimes even fresh ingredients. A reservation including clarification of the wishes and conditions in advance I can only recommend to you, then the visit will certainly be successful.
Great food, good drinks and nice service. I would have imagined more comfort under herbal café. The premises would have to be adjusted a bit. :)
We were in the herbal cafe about 3 weeks ago. We had reserved a table before. At 10.20 was then opened. After a long wait, breakfast was gradually served. Without asking we got the country breakfast for 12,90 € served. We did not know that, but we saw it later on the bill. Baked rolls for the price is a no go. A coffee was not part of the country breakfast. Pot of coffee for 9 € really steep, and so strong that he even with milk was hard to enjoy. Everything in one is to say we will not come back.
Very friendly and nice service, delicious food, home-made pesto, chutneys and dips to take away, giving away ... we liked it and we will be back!
A wonderful destination for all those who feel like something else. The menu goes from breakfast, lunch and snack to cake (tip: Bergische Kaffetafel). Everything homemade and with much love you can taste. There is an in-house Kräutermanufaktur, there you can buy much of the menu also for sale at home. Definitv worth a visit.
The Kräutercafe in Geilenkausen is a cafe for romantics. If you like homemade coffee and cakes, this is the place to go, but you can also eat hearty meals. Bedienung. The operation is also very nice. Geile Steeping is a very beautiful half-timbered village with beautiful farms which is embedded in a beautiful nature is also very suitable for hiking. Will definitely come back
Everything was very nice and tasty. But the staff seemed at times a bit haphazard and uncoordinated (although it was very polite).
Of course, there is coffee and delicious home-made cake in the herb café. But what I particularly appreciate are the selected seasonal dishes from the small menu. If you are patient, you will be served very tasty and unusual dishes, the herbalist Astrid Saubert freshly prepared and refined with love and passion with herbs and edible flowers. Many times we have already seen how she picks the last ingredients for our ordered food directly in the adjacent garden. We are always happy to eat there.
Pentecost Sunday. Sunshine and an idyllic cafe. Wonderfully located. Very nice service and a delicious menu along with waffles and cakes. Worthwhile!
Food and drinks delicious. Decor could be more comfortable. Staff friendly
A dream of eating, an absolute insider tip to recommend - a poem for the eyes and for the stomach. Everything with fresh ingredients, creatively prepared and lasting impressions! Many thanks for the great time!
Very nicely decorated, looks really great! Bergische coffee table, however, not that great, very expensive for little choice. Two fewer people came than was reserved, we should pay for the missing ones, but we didn't get the waffles. What a shame, I'm not coming back.
Very nice team, tasty cakes and coffee, great selection of teas, delicious little dishes with seasonal herbs, open wines and one or the other even in organic quality. On certain days a Bergische coffee table is offered, hikes and other events. More on the website. The pictures show an adjoining room.
